With great sorrow, our beautiful model Bella LaRue passed away peacefully in my arms on February 11, 2010 at 3:44 PM. She was diagnosed with a disease on November 1st, 2008, called GME. GME is an acute, progressive inflammatory disease of the central nervous system (CNS) of dogs. Sadly there is no cure at this time. Later this year I will begin a very special non-profit foundation called "The Bella LaRue Foundation" to help find a cure for this deadly disease. It will be a mission of love in her honor. She has brought so much joy and love into our lives, and I will treasure those memories forever. My husband and I and her sisters miss her more then words can express. She was a beautiful gift from God, and we are so thankful her life was spent with us.

I would like to say “Thank-you” for loving her as you all have. We are so happy her beautiful photos made all of you smile and laugh and fall in love.
